May 03rd - 7th 2010

GOOD MORNING

Let's make a plan to start this weekend right.
First we must be thankful for all the blessings we enjoy and take for grated.
Second we will create a list of all we need to do over the weekend in order of priority and importance - then we attack it methodically making sure to do them all to the best of our ability and with intention to do them well.

So we are winding down to the end of the semester. It does not mean that its time to slack off. I notice some people missing classes and some coming late.

Do not mess up in a week what you created in an entire semester. Many absences will affect your your grade and class participation requirements. Take heed you, can't say you did not know. In extreme cases, you may be asked to withdraw!!

Now as I explained to all of you already - the following is what to expect in the week ahead.

www
Monday
Status report of the progress of the web page. (bring in the letter signed and stamped.

Wednesday
Visual Web Page update to be compared with criteria received from the clients.

Friday
Final Web pages submitted

You may not want to hear this but I will say it none the less.

1. If your clients LOVE your page enough to want to publish it then it is an automatic A.
2. If you do not complete your web page we will have an theory exam.
All this means is make sure you complete the task and do it extremely well.

Make me proud of you!!

INT
Case studies in preparation of exams.
I am not getting the impression that you are taking this exercises seriously. I will be looking or analysis of the given situations that need to be addressed in a certain way and covering specific criteria. Pay attention to detail!

BIS

As discussed the exam was intended to cover chapter 1-10 equally.(10% per chapter)
Due to certain last minute changes in the schedule I have decided to place the 40% of the exams on chapter 9 and 10 and 60% on chapter 1 through 8.

You are advised to visit the companion site to review the chapters. There you will find informational practice test questions and can review appropriately. Be reminded that you are to review concepts and it is not advised that you try to simply memorize items.

MIS PROJECT
Remember to focus on the database and the reports.

An HR database is used to
1. recruit
2. appraise
3. indicate training needs
3. monitor salary and pension
4. discipline and terminate
5. recommendation

Now you know what to expect in the week ahead. Prepare!!

If you fail to prepare then you are preparing to fail.

Make the right choice!!
