Take home Test Chapter 6
Complete the following and submit to class on Monday July 27th 2011 at the start of class.

1. Discuss and differentiate between pure and partial electronic commerce. Give examples of companies in each category.
2. List and discuss the various types of electronic commerce.
3. Discuss and differentiate between forward and reverse auctions.
4. Discuss the following electronic commerce business models and give examples of each type: online direct marketing, electronic tendering system, name-your-own-price, find-the-best-price, affiliate marketing, and viral marketing.
5. Differentiate between electronic storefronts and electronic malls and give examples of each.
6. Discuss the benefits and limitations of electronic commerce.
7. Discuss the various business-to-consumer applications (e.g., e-tailing, electronic storefronts, electronic malls). Do we have this in Belize? Why or Why not?
8. Discuss the various methods of online advertising, site examples

Since its Summer and we have no Mass for me to invite you to I thought I'd share this scripture and a little prayer. Take a little time, it will be worth it.

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
When Paul wrote today’s verse, he was in chains in prison. He had been arrested for preaching the gospel. Everything in his surroundings shouted “limitations,” but instead of looking at his surroundings, Paul kept his eyes on the limitless God. He kept looking for the open door of opportunity that God would have for him next.
No matter what “chains” you may feel like you are in today, remember, we serve a God who’s in the business of setting people free. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He fills you with His power. He promises to walk with you all the days of your life.
When doors look closed all around you, when your surroundings look limited, when you feel like you’re in chains, remember, God is still at work in your life. Like Paul, keep your hopes up. Keep expecting. Keep believing. Pray for those opportunities to be opened to you. If you fall, get back up and press forward with even greater determination to accomplish the dream that God has planted in your heart. The prayer of the righteous avails much, so keep praying because He promises to break the chains and open doors of opportunity in your life!

It a lovely morning, we are lucky to be having showers of blessings.
This week is as follows:
Monday: Chapter 4
Tuesday: Chapter 5
Wednesday: Test Chapter 4-5
Thursday: Blog creation
Friday: Chapter 6
This is as a result of registration last week. A reminder that we are in a summer course which means the pace is faster and more is expected out of you.
Note that you have access to the notes and the review questions so please be sure to prepare accordingly.
I look forward to a productive week with you.
Most importantly do not use the rain as an excuse to miss classes. For if you do you will miss a lot!!

A few reminders
Your Group assignment was due on Monday. Please keep in mind that this is a summer session and that means that you need to work hard to meet deadlines and keep the pace. As mentioned at the start of classes, we will cover the entire ten chapters the same as if it were a regular semester. You need to be responsible and do your part to achieve this requirement. I will let it slide, somewhat, by extending the date to Friday of this week. If by then I do not have a submission then I will have to resort to assigning M to your grade.

Tuesday: Test ch 1-3 Data flow diagrams continued
Wednesday: DFD Practical & Blog assignment
Thursday: Create your blog (blogspot.com) Remember my appointment!
Friday: Grade Blog, DFD quiz and introduce chapter 4
and that's it for this week. Please be prepared.
